How does it work?
In a sophrology session, which can take place individually or in groups,
you enter a state between wakefulness and sleep through focused breathing,
relaxation, visualization, and concentration exercises. If you’ve done yoga before, you might recognize some of the practices, like body scans and abdominal breathing. Sophrologists call the state that is reached through muscle relaxation and calm breathing the “sophronic state.”
